In accordance with the terms of article 3, paragraph f) of Regulation no. 4/2004 of the Securities Market Regulator, Galp Energia, SGPS, S.A. (“Galp Energia”) hereby discloses the following information:

Following the resignation presented by Mr. Massimo Rivara, to his position of member of the Board of Directors and executive director of Galp Energia, the Board of Directors approved, in the meeting held on the 20 of December, the appointment of Mr. Enrico Grigesi, in replacement for Mr. Massimo Rivara, as member of the Board of Directors and executive director responsible for the natural gas activity, effective 1 January, 2008.

The decision of the Board of Directors will have to be confirmed at the next General Shareholder Meeting.
